Main function:
Indole-3-acetic Acid (IAA) can induce plant cell elongation and division. This broad-spectrum plant growth stimulator of indoles with auxin activity is currently mainly used to promote the rooting of cuttings of herbaceous and woody ornamental plants.
Different parts of the plant have different sensitivity to it. Generally, the sensitivity of roots is larger than that of shoots and stems, and different plants have different sensitivities.
Notice: Auxin (IAA, IBA) doesn’t work for tissues that tend to age.
